Hard to say. I am an Aries. I have no close friends that are Aries. (my closest friends are Cancer and Gemini). I was engaged to another Aries once, and it didn't work out. I have had close dating relationships also with Cancer, Pisces and Aquarius (who I finally married). I can't say that I am obsessed with my own sign. I don't even seek out others with the same sign.

The fortune tellers and the astrologers have maintained a balance so as to keep all on the toes. They would always stress more on the qualities and features that compels one to love one's star signs.

I have found that people with star signs that are described as proud generally like their own signs, for example myself, I'm Leo :)

I used to dislike my sign because it was the only thing that wasn't an animal or such. (I'm a Libra) I wanted to be something sexy like a Scorpio or something
But then I read about my signs profile and it sounded almost like me so now I love my sign but not oppsessed about it.

star , star sign has its entity incharacterisation, plays a role in natal chart / marriage compatability etc,.
these r guiding factors . to hint bad to guard againist & to try minimise to the extent possiable by Pujas etc,. if any,&. to accelarate good on time

not all of them are ... i think there are definitely some people who generally love their own sign, but then take a look at what sign they are and it will usually explain itself.
i'm a leo ... and definitely 100% proud of it ... but then again, that's just my nature ;)
