I think Jim is crazy. The problem is that (1) Internet Explorer has detected something potetionaly dangerous to the computer and is protecting it, (2) It has found a glitch in a web page's script,or (3), the page you are trying to view does not comply with a setting of internet explorer, (4) your computer is using to much memory, (5), your computer cannot function because way to many KB are being dumped onto the hard drive. i suggest you download firefox, because it does not allow sites to dump information on your hard drive.the #1 cause of automatic web browser shutdown is that your hard drive is getting to much flak.
I hope this helps.

you can download FireFox from this website:

I had the same problem. Something was wrong with my settings. Ended up taking it in and having it wiped clean and started over!

I don't know but the only proper response is to thump the computer while yelling at it -This way the computer understands that the behaviour is unaceptable and won't do it again.
