I believe she is a great tennis player AND a great woman who has done a lot of good for society in general, but I wonder if renaming the National Tennis Center was a bit much? Your thoughts?

It is fine with me. As far as the impact women athletes in tennis have had on her sport she is the top American. Started the slims, Started team tennis, Was outed, first women as athlete of the year in Sports Illustrated. Head an abortion when not popular. Big time stuff.

I think it is wonderful. She has done more for tennis than any player yet. Remember she is the one who got woman prize money and in turn men got more prize money. She started the team tennis league to help starting players become better (men and women). She really loves tennis and promotes it with all her heart.

Its great. She's given a lot to the sport. Most buildings are carrying the name of a corporation or person - this is just another one of them. Its a good thing.
