I have given tiny packs of kleenex (w/ baby themed prints)...for their tears of joy. If you know the baby's sex you can place a 'It's a boy /It's a girl' sticker on each of the packs of kleenex. They are cute and functional. I found these at a party supply store (both the kleenex and the stickers).

Plain baby bottles filled with candy is always cute. You can use them as centerpieces and them give them away as favours at the end of the party.

If you have a particularly good sense of humor you could try this idea my friend once used. She wrapped hershey kisses up inside cloth baby diapers and tied them with ribbon. Funny or gross...I can't decide.
