The Cd's you bought are incompatible with your burner. Most DVD burners are pretty picky about who's discs they will burn. The same is true with Cd burners. DVD burners will usually burn about any brand of Cd's, (sometimes), and then there are some burners that require a certain brands of Cd-R and RWs. Check your optical drives manual to see which manufacturers make the Cd's that your burner will burn. But, DVDs are a different story. Manufacturers use different color dyes on the discs, and only the DVDs that are dyed a certain color will burn on your brand of DVD burner.
