So according to this website:
http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/
Each one of us (every American citizen), has a share in the debt of over $28 thousand dollars?

And the current debt as of Monday, September 25th (4 weeks untill my vacation, w00t) 2006, at 12:18 AM is:
$8, 489, 943, 611, 321, and 48 cents.

The numbers changes every single time you update the page. It goes up about 1000 dollars every time you refresh the page.

Is this website true? Is it the actual (or aproximatly) debt of the Untied States of America?

Here is the link again if you want to see for yourself:

The debt clock is not totally accurate, but it's really close. The owner of the site gets updated numbers fairly often. The debt is currently over 8 billion, and growing. At the current rate of growth, it will hit 10 billion before the next presidential election.
