I have the exact same problem, and rosacea to boot. It bites. The best thing to do is go to a dermatologist.
If it's not worth the trouble, or the money, then try using a drugstore product with salicylic acid. What it is intended to do is remove the dead skin on your face, which in theory unclogs pores and keeps them from clogging up with dead skin cells again. Don't go near Clearasil, it smells like butane and burns. I don't recommend benzoyl peroxide because sensitive skin doesn't handle it well. Salicylic acid is irritating too, obviously, but it's not as bad.
I have had success in the past with Boscia's Willow Bark Breakout Treatment. Willow bark is a source of salicylic acid. The treatment is very gentle. Aveeno has an acne treatment that worked, too. I forget what it's called.
Boscia's entire line is super gentle, but the price might not be worth it for you. You can probably get the stuff on ebay, and I think you can get samples for free. Sephora stores will give you samples, too.
Check the products you are currently using for irritating chemicals and fragrances, because those could be causing the problems you're having in the first place. Otherwise, make sure you moisturize well and use oil-free products.

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.
