Sounds like you got fragged by a virus! Do you have an anti-virus program running at all times on your computer, like Norton or McAfee or something. If you don't uh-oh. Get one and install it or if you have one run a specail scan covering all files, see if you can destroy the virus. It may also be spyware, try Ad-Aware, Spybot, and Windows Defender (I run all three, the first two are free at www.download.com, and WD is free at www.microsoft.com)

Try to run scan disk. If you are using window XP this is how you do it.
Go to My Computer>C: (right click the drive and select Properties) >tool>Check Now. Check in the boxes "Automatically fix file system errors" & "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" and click Start. However, there will be a message saying that scanning will be performed after restrarting your PC. Just close all your programs and reboot your PC. Scan disk will be performed.
For other versions of windows go to All Programs>Accessories>System Tool>Scan Disk
After you have scaning for C: drive repeat the procedures for D: drive if you have one.
Finally, scan your computer for Virus.
GOOD LUCK!

Without knowing precisely what error statements you got it's difficult to say what is going on.
But you may want to think about restarting the system in Safe Mode (this is a Windows computer, right?) and see what happens there.
A disk wipe, and system reload is not beyond the realm of possibility.

I believe you might have a major virus on your computer.
The based way to fix all those errors is to reinstall Windows.
You probably received a CD when purchasing your computer - a Windows Recovery Disk.
Put that in your computer. It may take 30-45 minutes. Also it will delete everything on your system excpet what came with your system.
I would do this immediatly. It will fix all errors and delete and remove any virus that may have been added to your computer somehow.

Backup ur important data in the system partion, then if possible remove ur hard drive from ur cpu and then fix it to a stable and smooth running PC and perform a virus scan and a registry scan. If itd dtill faulty then its time to format ur partition and install a fresh copy of windows. Remember, before connectiong to internet again, install a virusguard (Mcafee 8.0i enterprice) and update it.

Could be a virus or a physical problem (usually thermal). Check all of you fans and make sure they are running. Main fans are: on the processor, inside the power supply and a system fan somewhere on the case.
Run you virus and spy wear programs also if you have a chance.

Download these programs, update them, run them in the normal manner, then re-run them in safe mode. AVG Antivirus from Grisoft, Spy-bot Search and Destroy from downloads.com, Ad-Aware from Lavasoft, and Windows Defender from Microsoft. Cost=$0.

Well, thats fcuked up...but you can try a system restore on your computer. Go to the start menu -> accesories -> system tools -> and then system restore. It worked once for me, but its not gauranteed, you should give it a try though.

try defragging or error checker.. the error checker should work because it will scan your computer and tell windows to fix them automatically.
