I'm 13 years old and he's 17. We met while chating online. We fell in love with eacother even though we don't know exacly what we look like. We described what we looked like in words. But I'm not so sure if I even should be flirting with him.

You have to be careful, i think its wrong flirting with someone on line that you do not even know, cos u're young and there is a lot of danger out there. Also i doubt if its a 17 year old cos there are a lot of predators who could pose as someone about your age for evil purposes.
I advise you to interact with some one you know and NEVER give your address or information to anyone online.
Lastly TELL your parents, they know better.

First off what are you doing flirting on line any way ? This guy is probably 45 years old bald and fat . What are you thinking . No do not flirt with this person . You don't know what he is up to . The next thing is he will want to meet you in a out of the way place . Telling you that he is 17 and you are only 13 and people will talk . Then being only 13 you will think he is older and think he is right . Run girl run . And be afraid be very AFRAID . You said you don't know what he looks like . That there should tell you something . You are only 13 years old . Get away from the computer and go out and have fun with people you know . Someone your own age . Believe me what you are feeling is not love . well.....from a parents perspective, I think I would have a hard time allowing this to happen. If he were 15, or you were 15 or 16 then it may be a little more acceptable for flirting and whatever.
But you are only 13. Next year he is going to be a legal adult. It is not considered acceptable by society for a man (18yr old) to have a relationship with a 13 or 14 yr old.
After reading some of the other answers, they are absolutely right!!!! This could very easily be some perverted adult trying to prey on you. Talk to your parents immediately about this!!!!!

He is too old. Plus, if he is a 17 year old picking up a girl on an chatting online, there is obviously something wrong with him.
You'll probably find out he is a 55 year old prying on a young girl.

yes it is a bit wrong all thou 4 yrs isnt a big age gap u r only 13 wait at least till u r 15 to flirt with boys a bit older than u r ,and how do u know he is a 17 yo n not a 45 yo molester hun , i have a daughter your age n it worries me when i hear about yous on here talking to ppl u dont know , only trust a boy who is willing to show u n prove to u he is his age please ,becareful n stay safe n happy flirting with boys around your own age

Sweetie, you are very young and I'm sorry to say, naiive. Men lie about what they look like, and they lie about their age. You could be talking to a 40 year old pervert and not know it. its not wrong for you, but it sure is for him. he's old enough to know that your not quite at his age level yet. flirting is always fun, but don't take it seriously.
