MELINA, WHAT ATTRACTS ME TO NASCAR IS POWER AND THE SOUND OF THE ENGINES. MY DAD USE TO RACE, SO I WAS RAISED ON A RACETRACK. I LOVE TO WATCH THEM RACE YOU COULD FEEL THE POWER OF THE ENGINES IN YOUR HEART, YOU REALLY CAN.

The whole experience at the track is great. Taking along road trip is always a blast. You can dress and look however you want and not care what other people think. The camping is fun, meeting new people, drinking beer every hour of the day. No one says anything when you crack open a cold beer at 7:00 in the morning. The smell is to die for they need to make a perfume that scent, and the noise makes the little hairs on your arms stand up. Sitting up close to the fence during the race and having bits of rubber hit you. Seeing all the drivers and their pretty cars. The wrecks are entertaining as well. All in all it's just a great, fun time. Great now i'm all excited I get to go to Talladega in a few weeks wooohoooo!!!! Oh and seeing Dale Jr in his fire suit is always nice to see.

I do not know if I can be called a superfan or not.I do have autographs of over 100 drivers, and have photos , die cast, advertisemint and promo cut outs of 20 or 25 drivers/teams.
I have botuh die cast and plastic models of 30 to 40 cars.
I started going to NASCAR races in 1960(Ned Jarrett won the first race that I saw).
The attraction to the racing is the competition that is developed. You have man vs machine as the drivers handle the3400 pound cars in various situations, then man vs man as the crews try to out smart each other.
Yes nearly every fan likes to see a wreck when their favorite driver is not involved.

To love nascar for the person who really loves nascar is a way of life. You clear all plans of raceday, which is usually sunday unless there is a saturday night race. You follow your fave driver. How they prepare for a race, what they eat, where and who they sleep with. What team they will be driving for next year. Where are they in the points standings? This is the fastest growing sport in America right now. For one thing it is an easy sport to follow when your hammered. Which alot of us are by the end of a race. In these times of high speed everything, nascar is a high speed sport that fits perfectly with our nations high speed lifestyle. And I want credit for that in your report!

Hi. Every NASCAR fan likes to believe they could have been the next Winston/Nextel cup winner. Try driving one. (You can. Look up the "Petty Driving Experience".) I did it. Made me a loyal fan.

nothing attracts me to nascar and nothing makes me want to puke more than seeing all the merchandise on top of the car that makes it to the winner's circle. nothing more than a bunch of advertising, as if we don't have enough already
