Saskatchewan is the middle province of Canada's three prairie provinces. It has an area of 651,900 km² (251,700 mi²) and a population of 988,980(Saskatchewanians) (April 1, 2006). Most of its population lives in the southern part of the province. The largest city is Saskatoon with a metropolitan population of 235,800 (July 1, 2005), followed by the province's capital, Regina (metro population: 199,000, July 1, 2005).

If your an American it is above North Dakota, and Montana. It is the middle of Canada between Alberta and Manitoba.
... it is above sea level but flat. How flat? My dog ran away 5 days ago and I can still see him. So flat that I smacked into a telephone pole and got in real trouble for killing the provincial tree! So flat that when a friend came to visit and asked me to show her all of Saskatchewan I lent her a chair to stand on.
