while the first answerer gave directions ... well, orders... to get bubble bobble, and was wrong, those games sure were fun

Go here. Get a Nintendo emulator and then download the games. They are Bubble Bobble 1 and 2. Jim, These games was what allowed the game your talking about to exist. Bubble Bobble was the forerunner for such games like pop it.
