If one is 54 she should already know that of course our reproductive system slows down with age. My point is that if you are the "one" you have not taken charge of your body. "Girls, women, read and learn and take charge of your body. And talk and ask questions to women who have went through every stage. Good luck!!

Actually when a little gilr is born she has billions and billions of eggs, way more than we do now. But as she grows the egg count drops and continues to through out life. Someone at 54 should be in or done with medipause or soon to start andtheir egg count would be pretty low

Eggs are released every time you have a period no matter what your age but there are less of them as you age and some of them are probably not healthy - yes you can still get pregnant.

No, I remember reading somewhere that the eggs start to diminish when you're in your mid 30's..
