Gonna be a tough game, but the defense will come through in ways that the G-Men couldn't. The Giants were just out-coached... even Shockey said so. As long as the D can continue to stifle Alexander, and Brown/Manning can stop Hasselbeck from connecting on the big play with all of their receiving weapons, the Bears can muster another tight victory. As for Rex getting hurt, anything's possible but I think he'll finally stay healthy this year, and continue to learn, making fewer mistakes along the way. Even if he does get hurt, Orton's not playing again, we've got Griese who's a veteran arm. The rushing has disappointed, but eventually the line will make some room for Jones to have a breakout game... hopefully that's next Sunday in Chi-town.

If this game were being played in Seattle, I'd be more inclined to pick the SeaHawks.

Seattle has not been a good road team(15-17 since 2002) as evidenced by their performance against Detroit, a team that held them to only 9 points, 173 net yds passing by Hasselbeck, a mere 51 yds by Alexander(who fumbled twice) and a pitiful 2 of 11 on third down conversions(18%).

In that game, Seattle also gave up 5 sacks for 37 yards, 2 blocked
kicks & a fumble to a similar(but much less mature) defensive scheme as the Bears while allowing Kitna 5.3 yds/pass attempt for 213 net yds, 5/14 third downs(36%) and 4.4yds per play.

Seattle didnt win the game as much as Detroit lost it by fumbling on their own 47 which led to the first Seattle FG and punting into the end zone from Seattle's 37 which resulted in the winning FG.

The Bears destroyed Detroit the following week 34-7.

The Bears are tied for 5th in the league in sacks(10), have only given up 2 sack in 3 games and have allowed an avg of only 7.7
pts/game with one touchdown coming on a Grossman pick.

Seattle has allowed 8 sacks in 3 games, averaged just 198yds passing per game to Chicago's 273yds and are allowing 15.3 points per game.

While it is true that Chicago's run offense is not what it was last
year, this is primarily due to opposing teams stacking the box to
force Grossman to beat them through the air, which he has done.

The Bears were embarrased by Carolina in the playoffs last year
and see this game as an opportunity to guage what might have
been had they taken Steve Smith more seriously.

Chicago is a hungry team on a mission. Seattle will be lucky to
make it out of Soldier Field alive.

Thats not to say it wont be a close game(I believe it will be) but home field advantage should provide Chicago with a 3-6pt win
over a playoff bound Seattle team that will not want to experience
another beating like they're going to get on Sunday.

Regardless of who wins, Seattle will limp home.

i don't see the right thank you to renowned the undeniable fact that the Seahawks have momentum and beat the Bears this season to boot via fact the undeniable fact that the NFL has sufficient stability that any team can win any given game yet nonetheless not have faith that the Seahawks ought to even doubtlessly positioned up a combat this weekend. i in my view experience such as you have given sufficient motives your self yet you additionally must contemplate the undeniable fact that Jay Cutler has in no way performed a playoff game previously so which you have not have been given any theory how he's going to respond to the tension.

i think so. although the bears looked bad against the vikings, a lot of that was just stupid mistakes. look for the coaches to correct those mistakes. remember the bears D has only gave up 1 TD in 3 games. alexander has looked like crap this season, thank you madden cover, and no one has been able to put up 100 yards rushing against the bears. i see this being a close game, with the 12th man in chicago being a big factor. i say chicago wins 24-17

No. The Seahawks are the defending AFC Champions and are still hungry for a return to the Super Bowl in Miami in 2007.

Seahawks scored 35 points in the first half against a pretty good Giants team.

So it will be a tough game for Da Bears, but I think they will pull through with another W.

It's unlikely, since the Seahawks are firing on all
cylinders. The Bears offense is nowhere near as
threatening as the Giants. I think they are going to
have their hands full with Seattle.

The Seahawks are unstoppable. They will crush the Bears and crush everyone else on their schedule and then go onto crush the Bengals in the Super Bowl.
