It was unexpected, but I think it was a very good thing. Different genres are getting recongnized by very upstanding award shows.

No, I thought it was weird also and to the person who was asking the name 3-6 mafia is not about evil it is about the number of people who have been in the group, I can't explain(cause I don't remember it all )but I saw them on tv and they did say it had nothing to do with devil worship or evil

I've always liked Three 6 Mafia but I thought the song wasn't even very good but that's just my opinion. But probably the song was one of their more mainstream songs.
I'm glad they won an Oscar, though.
Did they win an Emmy too? If so, good for them.

I sure as hell didn't expect it but I'm glad that the Emmy's are starting to incorporate more genres of music. They could have picked a better choice though.
