Anyone have any nice ideas or fun ways to reveal to your spouse or family members that you are pregnant in a happy and fun or suprising way something nice to do to future grandparents and future father. Thank you advice would be helpful.

Invite them to dinner and serve pickles and icecream for dessert. They will get it pretty quick.

I found out I was pregnant in the middle of a hurricane. Not much room for a "surprise I'm pregnant" there. But I saw a commercial once that I thought was sweet. It was coming near Father's Day and she gave him a onesie in a box as a present. You could do that for grandparents too. OR Get a onesie that is printed with some cute saying about parent/grandparent. OR have it say, "I'm on my way. Meet me at the hospital on (your due date)." That would be cute.

Well I wish that I would have told my baby's father like this because it seems so perfect. I saw it in the movie, "The Story of US." Get him to take a nice bubble bath with you, with candles lit all around. And when your sitting there with his arms wrapped around you,hold his hands and say, "I'm (or we're) pregnant."
As far as the grandparents go I think it depends on weather you think they are ready to be grandparents or not. If that idea scares them a bit saying, "You gonna be a grandma/pa" probably isn't the best way to go. I think I always pictured it as me and the father sitting in the living room holding hands and we tell them together that we are going to start a family. I hope this helps. And CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I used the digital test. As soon as I saw the word "pregnant", I yelled for my husband. He came running, and saw the word. He was so happy, he grabbed me, hugged me, and cried. We gave both sets of parents a picture frame. I put a piece of paper in the frames that said "Under Construction. ETA: March 11th, 2007". My parents got it right away. My mother-in-law looked at the frame for a minute, but then realized what was up when she saw me smile. Now, when the baby comes, the grandparents have a frame to put the picture in.

Easter was the closest holiday when family was together, I made a basket for my parents, together they opened numbered plastic eggs and read a rhyming poem which revealed they would be grandparents soon! Congratulations! For my second pregnancy I asked my 4yr. old son to tell my husband! Have fun!!

This is how I told my guy I was pregnant - he got home from work late at night, I told him I had a surprise for him & to close his eyes, I then grabbed the pregnancy test, sat on his lap, held it in front of his face and said open your eyes - surprize! He said what's that, I told him & he was excited, later on he told me he thought his surprize was going to be a puppy! Other ideas are to give them a card or have them open a baby type of present - a diaper or bottle etc. Another cute idea is to write on your belly Baby & draw an arrow, take a pic, get it copied & give it to your family - they'll get it! Or you could give your parents a shirt that says Grandpa or Grandma.

With our first, I thought I had the flu and went to the ER. Of course I was pregnant. I went to see DH at work after I left the ER and I showed him the prescription they gave me for prenatal vitamins.

You can buy a few pink and blue balloons and put up in your house. Make him dinner but when you go to serve dinner put some little babie shoes or an outfit on his plate instead.

Ok, ok, I'm sorry. I just had to crack a few jokes.. seriously, though, congratulations!!!!!
Personally, I would take them all out to dinner and have a baby cake served for dessert (you know, like one that says Its a Boy in blue icing or Its a Girl in pink!!)

The way I told my father ,We were looking for a place to move into and he was looking for me a1 bedroom places .He wandered when I came up with 2 bedroom places,I just came out and said you have to have a place for you're first grandbaby!
