just moved to a new city... louisville, ky.
moved here to go to graduate school, getting my doctorate in audiology. am i happier? much! because it was a step toward achieving my ultimate dream.
it's taken a lot of getting used to.. it was sort of lonely at first. mostly because of the stress of school and not really knowing anyone.. didn't have much of a stress relief or a social life, if you know what i mean.
it's all worked itself out in the wash, so to speak. i love the city, i love the life here and i love the school (go cardinals!!). it was a big adjustment, but i don't regret it a bit. :)

I moved to Seattle, Washington from a small town in southwest Michigan three years ago. I had searched all over trying to find a bigger city with more opportunities for several years and when I visited Seattle in 2002, I knew this is where I would call home.
I loved the scenery, the weather, the politics, the people, the culture...everything. It felt like home, moreso than the home where I was born and raised.
I've been happier in the last 3 years than I've ever been. I don't regret my decision in the least.
