Steelers fan...I am not surprised at the beginning of this season. Ben has been through alot this past summer, and he just needs some rest. Charlie can handle it for awhile. Watching Ben play is agonizing. You can tell he is not right. Come on Cowher, put Batch in for a couple more games.

I agree with Bao187 and kepjr100, The mistakes that the Niners made cost them to have the score of 10 - 14 or 6 to 14 instead of a them trailing 3 - 21. I think the defense did not do a good job covering the wide receivers. They leave the receivers wide open when scoring a touchdown.
It is difficult for the niners to beat the strongest team in the NFL. It is not really over for the niners' season they have 13 games to go.
Since, the niners def. the rams last week, the win did help them to stay alive for the playoff hunt. It is too early to tell who is going to the playoffs or who is the worst team in the NFL?
Another surprise ...
Mark Brunell 22/24 completion was also a shock. I never saw a QB making 22 completions in a row.

My team really sucks, especially after all of their off-season hype. New head coach(retread) new qb(can you call Aaron Brooks a NFL qb?) new offensive coordinater(yeah, right)
Raiders fan since Frank Youell Field.
Shockey's a loudmouth jerk, but he's probably right. Coughlin has already proven that he is, at best, an average coach. If you think you're the second coming of Belichek, you better have the results to back it up.

the seahawks are doing great, no surprise there with the fairly easy schedule
the only things i am surpised about is that shaun alexander doesnt have a 100 yard rushing game yet, or a multi touchdown game, oh, and the defence is a pleasant surprise, very good so far this year, much better than last year, which isnt an easy thing to do, cause last years defence was good, too

Da Bears 3-0...... Everyone picked vikings to win division. I know its early and was good game but a win is a win. Will the def bring a championship back? prob not but were scoring points too! bears over seahawks.

Tom Brady is a disappointment. :(
My favorite team for many sentimental reasons almost won today but sadly Cleveland added yet another loss to their record. Almost makes me yearn for those years they were undefeated! (bc they weren't playing...)
Coach Coughlin is a jerk, so even if it was inappropriate to say to reporters, I think he was right on with his analysis.

I'm surprised the Eagles defense is giving up so many points.
Shockey is an idiot destined to play on the Raiders.
