Why is it that so many of the people that support the War in Iraq are not willing to send their sons to fight there? I come from a family where joining the Military during War time was expected of you. If I were young enought I would be in the Military myself, I do have a nephew who is in the Military right now. I had two blood relitives who served on Viet-Nam, one who served in Korea, and three who served in WWII, they all saw combat. I guess it's a rich man's War and a poor man's fight! This question will be listed under Business and Finance because of all of man's enterprises War is the most profitable

When I posted this question I expected some hot blooded answers. As a boy I dreamed of being an AirForce Pilot, but things didn't turn out. I watch the Military channel a lot, and have a great deal of respect for our military, and our young men, but make no mistake I hate War! In War there are only two rules, young men die, and no matter how much you want to change rule # 1 you can't, it's just that simple.

First of all, I am still looking for thougthful answers on this subjest, I think it's importaint. I am a die-hard surporter of the American military, and I think our young men and women are the best solders in the history of warfare, they are better trained and better equipped than any solders the world has ever seen. However if such a valued resource isn't deployed properly, then that the lives of such great young people are just wasted, and that's something I am not going to let happen.
