The definition of mass media is to limit the number and type of ideas available to the public to a fixed sphere of concepts.
If you have ever read the book 1984, the main character's job was to rewrite news stories to fit currently needs of the authorities.
We have a similar screening of ideas in this society in the United States. A reflection of this is the uniformity in our cities, the same stores are found from east to west coast, north to south.
Wikipedia is an excellent current example of an organic daily editing out of the truth and insertion of false representations, blended in well with safe and approved established truths.
What you know if it is out of the sphere of ideas is not allowed to endure if it is not allowed. We are a corporate version of North Korea but are so deceived that most do not know it.
The very first sentence I had included on the topic of harassment in wikepedia, the author of the idea to give proper credit was also posted. It had been edited out since it was an unapproved discussion of the topic.
Currently In this country, advanced technology for mind control is at work, they are perfecting what the Nazis had started, and the Soviets had continued.

I would say anything involving faith. I believe everything else has at least the potential to be known through extensive observation and the scientific process. However, questions such as "Is there a God" or "Is there life after death" are unknowable since they cannot be proven by science alone.
Other questions may never have an answer, such as "What is the extent of the universe". "How does the universe end" is a question we may know someday, for a really short time.

What is unknowable presently is what we do not have the capabilities in science to observe. What is unknowable ultimately is set by the limits of the uncertainty principle.
