If you smile at someone... they will smile back and be more likely to smile at someone else. It's a whole chain reaction of making people smile. You could totally make one person's day better with just a simple smile as you walk by. It's a way to simply say... that you are aware that they exist and you respect them for simply that!

I smile to be nice. I think we all should smile at strangers more often. You never know when your smile will make someone's day or a difference in their lifes. Just by a simple, friendly smile!

Every one I meet on the road smiles and waves, it is just how farm folks are. We all either know each other or we know of each other. Not too many strangers come around, unless they are lost or thieves. We still smile at them and help them when we can. Of course we keep an eye out to see if they are up to no good.
