.Zn + 2HCl = ZCl2 + 2H.
N2 + H20 = N2O + H2. First,you must understand that these are two different reactions. The second reaction is balanced.But,highly unlikely under normal atmospheric conditions. Because, water is very stable and our lakes and oceans are not being depleted with Hydrogen.In exchange for Nitrogen. In the first reaction, Zinc has a charge of +2.Chlorine has a charge of -1. You must balance the charges. You must learn the names of the elements,their symbols and common charges. You must have the same number of different atoms on both sides of each Chemical equation. well.. I think you have a trouble with that equation. I think you did not copy it right. You should have some Zn in the product side..at least. And some Cl and some N in both sides!
