i am a candle lover!! and i have triied alot.. walmart candles are good.. good smells.. but not good for a larger room.. Yankee is OK.. more fragrant than walmart, but i don't think the accrual smells are the best i have smelt.. salt city is my favorite.... /www.saltcitycandle.com .. I love the smells the best and this candle will put the fragrance through out a larger room..

Yankee Candles sold at Bath & Body works have wonderfully full scents. Target has some great smelling candles also, even in black!
Depends on your personal taste and style. I love the Ocean candle I received as a housewarming gift from Pier One. It's a very clean and soothing smell, not overpowering or overly flowery....

I'm not a big fan of the Yankee candle. I think they're overrated. Personally, I've had real good luck with WoodWick (which also makes a crackling sound) and Tyler Candles. Both of these brands have enough oil in them that you can smell the aroma within minutes.

I love the candles from bath an body works. I also never burn them, I have a little heating surface from wal mart that you set the jar on so you get the smell without fire. It seems to make candles last forever and also eliminates the problem of uneven burning.

I have tried every candle out there and they are expensive. Now I buy the Yankee Candle plug ins, it's costs so much less, the scent lasts and you can smell it all over the room.
Also you don't have to buy the Yankee candle plug ins, thier re-fills fit the better priced Wizard or Glade plug ins.

I actually just bought an awesome candle from Wal-mart. It came with a really pretty shade and its fairly big, for $8. Pretty good deal. Black cherry was the scent by the way.

Definitely a Yankee Candle. I have a Spiced Pear candle burning now and I can smell it through my whole house.

Bath and Body works Henry Bendel candles. I can smell them burning throughout the house from just one candle!

Any of the Glade burning oils. They are wonderful and I love them. I have a very large living room and one will make the whole room smell great. ( I have 3 two year old children in diapers and I need all the freshness scent I can get) lol
