we do not have oceans in Nebraska. lol. But I've peed off a boat in the middle of Harlan County Dam when I was way too wasted to be attempting such a feat!

Yes. We used to go sailing with my father's cousin in Italy every summer. It was really nice to sail out away from the coast and then lower the anchor and go for a swim in the open sea. It's fun but a little bit scary at the same time because you never know what could be lurking beneath you. It's the same feeling you get when you take that first step off a dive boat and you have all your scuba gear on and your hand over your mask and you think: "What if I land on top of a shark?".

Getting back on the boat is BIATCH, too! LOL

Yes, I've been swimming off a boat in the ocean. Yes, we were a long way out. Yes, the water was very deep. No, it was not awesome, it was cold. Plum shriveled my pod.

I've only been on a boat twice in my life and both times it never stopped, just kept moving.

It would have been even more awesome if I wasn't constantly worried about what exactly might be swimming with me just out of immediate view!

20 miles offshore, as a matter of fact, and 80 feet down on a wreck.
