I am disabled & Had to learn That the hard way. anything that is different is juged. And how a persons is raised has a lot to do with the development of a person thinking ( Attitude). If a personn has not been around disabled people then how are thay to know how to understand or ACT.

Sometimes I accidentally do that, like if I catch someone's eyes for a second, and then I look away, and then I go to look back and smile or wave or something, but it's too late. Most of them probably don't do it on purpose.

Mostly because they see something or someone they think is beautiful, odd, interesting, ugly, gross, terrifying, etc. Some might even be trying to scare you.
