Yes, but why would he be looking?
If you have had sex, then you should be getting pelvic exams, of course. If you haven't and you're less than 21 years old, you don't need the exam.
Also, why do you care if he can tell?
You should definitely tell the doctor the truth if asked if you've had sex (because of the exam thing -- see above), and if you're telling him the truth, it doesn't matter what he sees. Even if you're younger than 18 years old, the doctor can't share information about your sexual history (or lack thereof) with your parents without your permission.

No, they really can't.
An imperforate hymen is incredibly rare, about 1% of women have them. It's a gyn emergency because when the girl reaches puberty and starts her period, the blood cannot get out of the vagina. This leads to a build up of trapped blood, which can cause pain, infection, and block the flow of urine.
A doctor can tell if you've had a baby, and then can tell if there's been trauma to the hymen. However, if you had consensual sex for the first time after puberty, it's possible that your hymen would look no different after sex than it did before.
There are tons of pictures of hymens on google images. I suggest you check them out.

Yes of course, during a gyn exam. But remember that many women will break their hymen during non sexual activities such as sports and horseback riding. Just because a hymen is not intact doesn't mean that a woman has had intercourse.

Yes. They can tell a lot. And just if you're looking for more info, it's spelled hymen.
