Actually I had a menstrual for the first six months of my pregnancy. Not a real heavy flow, but enough to cause me concern. The doctor told me everything was okay. I guess in that situation he was right. My son is 19 yrs old now.
On the other hand, I was pregnant some years back. I got to about 3 to 4 months. I'd started to show. My doctor had checked me, I was fine. Then I had my ultrasound. But the results didn't show a fetus, yet my doctor told me she heard the heartbeat and all was well. So the doctor kept having me come in for my blood levels to be checked every two weeks. My HCG levels were dropping. I had miscarried. I was so confused. Here it is I got an ultrasound not showing a baby at all and now I've miscarried, but wait- I hadn't passed anything. No clots, not tissue. The doctor kept asking had I seen anything, to which I had not. Then about three weeks later, the clots came.Small ones and then smaller pieces of tissue. Soon, the baby had passed. You can imagine I was an emotional wreck. I should have sued the doctor because of all the unreliable info. I was given and she should have done a D&C to eliminate the passing.
My advice to you is to keep pressing for information. Have them give you an ultrasound so that you can see the baby for yourself. When in doubt, get another opinion. You pay the doctor for service and its a shame to be vulnerable to their decisons and not know if you're getting the correct info or not. I'll pray your situation is not as grim as my last.

Some people do have this problem. If your Dr. did an ultrasound he would have checked for placental problems, amniotic fluid levels, and the actual growing fetus to ensure there isn't a problem. Some women bleed throughout their entire pregnancy. Clotting is a more delicate situation. Again, if your Dr. thought everything was okay, relax and try not to dwell on it. (Easier said than done) Make sure that you are taking care of your body and getting plenty of rest.

wow.

im not sure because the only time i passed clots was when i was miscarrying. if the doctor said dont worry, try not to stress about it but if you're really uncomfortable, go to the ER or get a second opinion. i definitely would. i wish you luck.

you mean blood clots?? that doesn't sound very healthy if you're pregnant, but try not to stress.
call your ob again in the morning, and let him know that you're very concerned, and that you want an exam.
