Americans are indifferent and ignorant to Canadians
Unfortunately we could care less about the fact that we have great neighbors to the north and we share a ????? mile border and we really don't have to fear what's on the other side.
Canadians most likely think that we are idiots.

I adore Canada and Canadians. I have never lived there, but would love to.
If I lived in Canada, I wouldn't want to venture into the USA. What does the USA offer the Canadians? Nothing that I would want to see if I were the fortunate soul living north of the border.
Everything costs less in Canada. Things I thought were long gone are available in Canada. Health care is provided to all Canadians as a matter of birthright. Look at how many Americans are using their grocery money to buy prescription drugs they need. It's sad.
I cherish my little visits to Canada. I always find some little thing that's uniquely Canadian that I can bring back home with me.
And if I were Canadian visting the USA, what would I bring home with me? Perhaps a sunburn?

As one Canadian, I think Americans are good people. No different than anyone else. There are a few "bad apples" in every bunch of course....but most Americans are okay hey?

I think most Americans consider the english speaking Canadians just like ourselves. The french speaking ones we can't relate to with as well just because we don't share as much with them due to the language barrier.

I'm from the south and I have no problems with any Canadians.I think that people that live close to the border might be better able to answer your question.
