When events happen in your life which you can't control, would you call it destiny or not? Is there a higher power that molds your life or are you in full control. Things happen for a reason, so I have been told. Everyone has an path in life, why is it so hard for some and not others?

Fate and destiny are basically unconrollable that led to events in our lives we call beyond our control.

Personal choices and individual decisions affecting those us events are within our conrol, thus we say things happens for a reason.

But definitely, there is a higher power out there that do not mold our life but serves as a guide for us to reach whatever is destined for us.

When we fail,, we have the choice to come back again in another time to serve the unfinished journey and experience other lifes challenges.

Whether you believe in a higher power or not; whether you believe in destiny or not; whether you believe things happen for a reason or not; the truth of the matter is our futures rest on the decisions we make today. However, you can make all the right decisions and still not be where you want to be simply because we can only control what we do, we can't control how others respond.

If you examine your life in an open and honest manner you will find that the majority of bad things that have happpened ; things that have made life harder; or even the good things have been a direct result of the choices you made leading up to the event (other than things that have happened through childhood).

Now, please take note that I said majority, not all events in life did you create. There are many things that happen in life that we had no control over. However, even if you examine some of these things you could find how some decisions you made helped to create the situation.

I personally cannot think of one bad thing that happened to me that I wasn't in some way responsible for from the choices I made leading up to the event (with exception of things that happened during childhood). Yes, and many people will bark at this but even the times I was raped. I made poor choices which put me in the circumstance that created the scene. Did that give him the right to rape me... NO, but it was my poor choices that put me in some places I should not have been. (yes it happened more than once in my life - statistics do not apply to me)

I believe it comes from Choices made in our lives.
Every choice has a result. Every result can either be positive made or negative. Sometimes people are too much in a hurry to decide on matters properly. No one seems to look at the panoramic view first to factor out results possible for their choices. In doing this they usually make things worse for themselves.
My answer is choices made not destiny.

That is deffinatly destinay. I think that you have complete control of your actions. Nothing or no one tells you what to do, or when you are making a mistake. It's SEEING it that's hard. Something that happens to you at the time might not seem like a good thing at the moment, may turn out to be the biggest miracle.

It's destiny. Sure, we have the ability to alter the path to some extent, however ultimately, we're all here for a reason.

That is a matter of faith. Pre-destiny is not something which can be proven only believed. I believe that each individual determines their own fate.

No, I think it's just life. We ride down the road of life making choices: where to stop, where to go, where to turn, who to ride with, how fast to go. It's just the consequences of our own choices. Life simply happens, based on our choices.
