yes, it is great. it is so exciting! i got to care about those poor people under siege by that terrible shark and i felt for Chief Brody and Quint and Matt Hooper as they braved an impossible task to hunt that monster of a sea beast and to bring it down and save the day. what excitement! seeing the shark terrorize them is so frightening and fun you can watch that movie again and again with much delight!

COOL! Lived in Hawaii at the time and it scared you know what out of me. My mother was living in Bermuda at the time and went to a theater to see the movie with my Dad and his boss. She happened to sit next to the BOSS and grabed him when the shark came out of the water and Brody says, "I think we need a bigger boat"!!! What and understatement!!

omg im fascinated with that movie but it made me develop shark phobia..and im serious
i watched it when i was 5 or 6 and ever since i've been terrified..
but it's not the only thing that developed it =(

i was so scared of that movie.....i watched it when i was 8-10 and i remember i didnt want to swim at the beach for ages...lol the sequel was not as good though

Oh yes! - one of my faves - although I did prefer the book (I'm a huge fan of Peter Benchley - his other novels are afantastic too)
