use a cleanser called THE WORKS. for toilets, It get all rust out in a matter of seconds, I mean seconds. cannot live without it. its about $1.97 at a walmart.

i live in europe and have the same problem here. i have gone to the hardware store and purcased something called "acido", its a type of sulphuric acid in liquid form. you pour it into the toilet bowl and shut the lid quickly (it stinks) leave it for about 1 hour then flush and the bowl is clean and ring free. hope you can find it where you live

CLR will take it out.

BTW, since you have well water, be sure to get a fluoride supplement. Ask your dentist what type and how much. It's going to cost me nearly $1000 to fix the damage done to my teeth by the lack of fluoride in our drinking water. The amount in toothpaste apparently is not enough. My oral surgeon told me the brittle teeth I have is a direct result of a lack of fluoride.

Denture cleaning tablets (6) left over night in toilet and rub with a pumice stone from hardware or manicure section of drug store.

i soak my toilet bowl in bleach. Works like magic.

Lived with well water all my life. You should have a water softener. Sounds like hard water. Good luck!

You can use CLR. It stands for Calcium Lime Rust. It is supposed to remove all three.

you can put something in the tank in the back to reduce the iron content, like tidee bowl or something.
