I thought about being a ladybug but I do not know about finding a coustume for that.

Last year all the teachers in my school dressed up as different colors from the crayola box and the prinicpal was the crayola box.

How about dressing up as a Disney character. The kids would love it and you can find those costumes everywhere.
Or if you have your heart set on being a ladybug, you could wear black pants and a black shirt with a red cardigan. Cut out some circles out of black construction paper and tape/pin them to your shirt.

How about Mickey Mouse? It's very easy...just wear a black pair of tights and a black long sleeved top, white gloves and a pair of red shorts..You would need mouse ears..and maybe a little painted wiskers with eyebrow pencil.. For the tail, when I made it for my daughter, I got a wire clothes hanger and twisted it..but you could actually use black pipe cleaners...then paint your cheeks rosy red...If I missed anything, just look at a picture of him. Most of the clothing articles can be picked up at a thrift store, and everything else probably the dollar store..

Try Stephanie from Lazytown or or a Princess always works.
Or dress as DeeDee Doodle from the Doodlebops...Just ask the kids. They know who she is.
Just call your local Halloween costume shop to find any of these.

How about a Fairy Princess for the kids they would be surprised when you said that you where their substatute teacher!Or a ladybug works find mabe you can make one!

How about a story book character? When I was in preschool my teachers dressed up like different character and we all had a blast.

My son's teacher once dressed as ragady anne clown the children loved it so much they cried when mom's came to pick them up to go home.

gargage bag and green ballons- a bunch of grapes.
dress as a clown and give the kids ballon animals.
