Did anybody watch the season finale of the showtime serie's "Brotherhood"?

Does anybody watch the showtime serie's "Brotherhood"? If you do watch it, are you surprised that Michael Caffee was killed, being that he's a main character? In a way, i'm thinking he might not die, but the beating he got, it would take a miracle for him to live.

I have a feeling he is not dead .So far he has only killed ,killers ,and he sent the little black kid away in the beggining .I think he is deep cover to get to the heart of big time coruption that involves the people who run the state and all the crime payoffs and everything else that they do .
Short term coma but not death .He is a mystery who left for seven years .
