Sop up the excess with paper towels opr old bath towels (you can wash them). Then clean with hot soapy water, and start at the top and work your way down. This way you don't drip dirty suds on a clean surface. Then go over the entire area once or twice with plain water to remove any stickiness. The ceiling, if smooth paint do the same, using a sponge mop on a handle. If "cottage cheese", well, good luck... And do the floor last. Pacing the kitchen will make a LOT of nasty prints, and will be the hardest to clean.
Had this happen once with root beer... Yuck!

Just use a cloth and warm water and a small amount of a mild dish detergent in the water and start wiping . Start doing the floor so you are not stepping on the sticky surface and continue wiping down everything that needs to be cleaned. Oh Ya put some music on to put you in a better mood .
