why do light skinned black/mulatto babies and chidren have to be with dark skin parents in commercial/tv/movies not all light skin people have a dark parent some of us have light skinned black ,mulatto parents and white parents why is this......................?

if i become an actor i will demand not to be with any dark skinned parents and women.i will only ask to be with people that are actually what my family realy looks like that is light skinned family.

Some light skinned mixed kids have one White parent and one Black parent, and brothers and sisters who are lighter or darker than they are. TV and movies aren't known to be realistic anyway. They still have difficulty, because there is still a lot of racism in the USA, in portraying mixed families. They want sponsors and a lot of viewers, and some segments of society still object to the mixing of the races, while the majority are coming to accept intermarriages between ethnic groups in our diverse society. Choose well what tv programs and movies you support by paying money to watch and buy sponsors products. Write letters to the network and producers with your feedback.

maybe it is actually their own child, anyway, looks more natrual than having a chinese parents with a black african baby, unless adopted of course. yes, there are 365 or near shades of black skin...so what...sometimes it doesn't quit match, environment, the child grew up in, etc sun, you must know

I think it's because society doesn't want to show a mixed family, cause society always say mixed ppl are more considered black.

Media hype! - dont get hung up on it!!!! skin colour, hair colour, the way we all look varies immensly, media portray families in different ways to appeal to their target audiences!!!!
