Yes there will be at some time a one world government.
It has to happen. We in the USA are 50 countries living as one country. So why not?
It may not happen till we find life out there in space somewhere but it will happen. All will be at one time Earth People. Yes like always there will be crime but will be governed by one government. We have it almost setup but the UN don't have the power yet to control. When the UN takes full control as the power of all then we will be there an peace will be the way of life on this planet.
It will not happen in my life time but will happen if global warming don't kill us out first it will happen.

How do you propose that. the world is made of so many cultures and ethnicities it would be imposible to create a one world goverment and tend to all the needs of the people.

No, would you want to live in Cuba? North Korea? Venezuela? Saudi Arabia? Somalia? Etc? (If not, why not?) They would have a say in the one world government. I doubt they would want to live under the government I prefer. Local and state government works well, read the U.S Constitution (10th Amendment, Bill of Rights).

As the worlds population grows we may reach a point where we have to collectively manage the worlds resources in order to provide for everyone. It could be that the only way to do that is through a centralized government.

The UN is one of the most successful confederations in the history of mankind. Welfare fraud recipients are more effective with change than the UN is.
While I like the idea of a one government, the one that is in existence now does not give me much hope that one can work anytime soon.

There cannot be a one world government. If there were then there would be no freedom what so ever. We all would have to have the same thoughts, ideas, religion, e.t.c. Not possible, so no, i do not agree.
