My guess is if you got hired to ask these questions of someone to be an executive director and you dont know what to ask, then your job is the next one someone will be interviewing for.

You can ask for a resume if one was not provided. 1. Do they have a car. 2. If female, do she have children and a dependable babysitter. 3. Any health issues that requires serious attention. 4. Any involment with felonies. 5. Are they experienced enough for the job. 6. The required salary as it will depend how long they will tolerate the work. In addition look at their appearance and how they keep contact or if they appear nervous out of normal range. Last but least how do they get along workning with people and have this been a problem to them in their past employment.

Executive Director of what? Kind of hard to give you questions without knowing more about the job requirements.

I have been asked these questions:

-how many sick days did you take at your last job
-why do you want to work here
-how would you be an assest

The questions that i acutally thought made more sense to ask were these:

-what are three strengths you bring to work
-tell me about a time you thought you failed at work and turned it around
-what are your poorer qualities you bring to work
-tell me about a time you had a work conflict and how you handled it

These last question were very hard to answer, but made more sense as they were less generic.

Are you a team player? Where do you see yourself five years from now? What is your greatest achievement? What is the worst thing that happened to you on a previous job? How do you handle criticism? What are your short term goals and what are your long term goals?
