America gets what it deserves, the bad thing about that is we are in this together, the innocent pays for the guilty.
There is alot of hypocricy in America the land of the free the home of the slave.

Frankly and unfortunately, yes given that a majority actually put him back into office this time, although the democratic offering was really really a poor choice. Almost fishy how he was getting ready to drop out, Dean was the shoe-in and then suddenly it was all about Kerry. Our press and tv news are not exactly fair and balanced, and they certainly help control who is in the public eye. That's why I expect Hllary will be the next demo candidate, even though many polls show she is unelectable and not really a representation of mainstream America. The news folks will continue to chant Hillary, and we will get another republican president.

Yes.
I do not like our current president at all. I was not even all THAT fond of our last. BUT as a country we get what we vote for. (and no, I don't think there was any question he won this last election - and for my 2 cents on the last one - LEGALLY he won it - even if there were questions and it should just be layed to rest).
The level of apathy in this country is exactly the reason we get the president we deserve. If more people who wanted another president got out and voted, then we would have another one. SO, until the apathy goes away and we start getting the turn out at elections we SHOULD be having, we deserve exactly what we get.

Democracy sucks these days because it gives people the illusion of being able to decide who will govern but actually doesn't deliver. The people in power have manipulated the system to get there and they, in turn are manipulated to elect a leader. America does not have the leader it either deserves or wants. Democracy needs to be overhauled to keep it honest. The founding fathers even said that they envisioned periodic 'rebellions' against the US government for exactly that reason. Why it hasn't happened is a pity for us all.

As a citizen of Nascarland, I'd say that we definitely have the president that we deserve. Especially since we invited him back for an encore performance!

Are you the VOTER and patriotic citizen that America deserves? What are YOU doing to make America great? Sounds like you are doing nothing but complaining.

Once upon a time, I might have said yes, but, God, you have to feel sorry for the poor devils.
There are so many good people in America, how could things go so wrong?
