Definitly. It's so sad how girls are seen as object and purely there for sex. I wish I lived back in the Victorian days where girls wore clothes to look beautiful, not sexy, and everyone had a lot more respect for each other. There wasn't crap sexist advertising either. Guys actually respected girls, unlike these days when all they want to do is be pimps and own tons of b!tches.

because Yorkies are not to any extent further for women! easily, we gave you Milk Tray: that one's inquisitive about you. Why take our Yorkies from us? ;-) heavily although, there are a lot of sexist commercials. Yorkie, weight relief plan Coke, and so on. they are only jokes designed to attraction to their purpose target market. they don't actually damage anybody. (women anybody remains allowed to purchase Yorkies.) in case you want to work out genuine sexism, take a examine out Sheilas' Wheels. no longer only were their commercials sexist yet their expenditures were too (they are an coverage company). they have, i trust those days been informed to regulate their pricing regulations through the european courtroom of Justice.

Banned as in a law saying you can't do it? No.
But if people are upset enough to boycott products that use sexist ads, then I am sure ad agencies would stop doing them.
Also if a magazine, tv or radio station or any other ad based mediem decide they wont run sexist ads then that's also cool.

This is America! People should have right to print what they want, regardless if someone finds it offensive. If you don't like it, don't watch it, don't read it, and don't listen to it. But don't force your morals on others who don't share your views. If everything that was offensive to someone was banned, all magazines and books would be completely blank.

i think its a matter of changing attitudes, not giving the government power to censor media. i really hate sexism, racism, bigotry in media but its the price we pay for freedom of speech. (something i am a fan of). but you are right- something does need to be done. what can we do as a society to eliminate these biased attitudes?
