TNA's big announcement at their No Surrender PPV was that Kurt Angle is coming to TNA. A small video package of Kurt Angle was shown. In the end, Kurt Angle said "Oh it's real, it's damn real."

We hope to have more details on Kurt Angle going to TNA.

A separate announcement by Jim Cornette was that TNA is going Prime Time on Thursdays at 9:00 P.M. in November on Spike TV.

He will boost their roster, that's for sure. This is a great
acquisition for TNA. It will help to break some of the
virtual monopoly that Vince has on the major pro level
of pro wrestling in the North American and world pro
wrestling markets. The WWE, under McMahon, is
almost as powerful in North America, as the NWA
was in its heyday, when McMahon's grandfather and
father was part of the old NWA with their WWWF
promotions. Kurt Angle was not really suited for the
ECW brand anyways. His style and demeanor would
have played great when the AWA and NWA in their
heydays.
This move will mean someone will be probably leaving
TNA, or someone will lose their mainevent status, or
get downgraded to midlevel status.

Well, this actually HELPS Angle. He said he was burned out from the travel and wrokload WWE has. WWE tours the country. What's TNA's travel schedule: NEXT TO NOTHING!!! It's one show that stays in the same spot (except for BfG), he can has plenty of time to rest and unwind. And I think this is a good move.

damn it!! i hate a lying sack of **** like that!! he said he had to quit for a while because of all the things going on in his personal life and all his injuries and stuff...it's only been a matter of weeks, the damn liar!!! blah, blah , blah, whine, whine, whine. oh well, tna is a better place for him, it's more technical, less soap opera...the guy was an actual wrestler at one time. (wwe, ecw, etc-not wrestling)
