as long if not longer than your grandparents or someone you know that has had a long and loving marriage?
My grandparents just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary today, and they give me so much hope that I can accomplish that in my life and marriage as well.

Congratulations and I hope it will last forever! I have fallen in love recently with someone who loves me too and we plan to spend the rest of our lives together.

I believe what you think about marriage has a lot to do with what happened to your parents especially. Looking back at how I felt before I got married, I see a lot of similarities with my parent. I always thought it's very difficult to spend the rest of your intimate life with a single person. Now that I'm single again and much older, I understand that couples that can stay together forever have really made some great efforts.

Yes, I know our marriage will be a forever marriage because we married the right person at the right time and in the right place and we are sealed for time and eternity to each other. We are both fully committed to one another and to our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. I wish you the best. With grandparents as good examples, and a strong desire to do what is right all will be well with you!

It's supposed to last forever, that's the point of getting married is to have a permanent relationship with your love. My aunt and uncle have been married for almost 40 years and I'm sure they plan on staying together many more years. So there is hope for everyone. I think the key is being able to grow together and to be able to accept and appreciate each other differences and learn how to manage conflict.

I don't know anyone who has been married a long time but if I ever get married I do believe my marriage would last. If I go into the marriage thinking it won't last then I've already defeated the whole purpose.

When it comes to marriage i like to think that i am doing it not at all like my parents. My parents got married in high school because my mom got pregnant with me and the only reason they stayed together as long as they did was because of me then they divorced as soon as i was out of the house. let me tell you thats not the type of bullshit you should carry around with you. i married my wife because i met her, i got to know her, i liked it and i fell in love. i plan on being married to her until the end of time

The last time I answered one of your questions about marriage it was a different ssiren - one who had just left her husband. But if you can make it work then go for it. There is a lot to be said for a marriage that lasts 55 years - and you can bet they have had their ups and downs. So good luck to you, I wish for you to choose the path to the greatest happiness.

The first time I did. The second time I was doing so many drugs that I didn't think about it. I have been single for years and haven't married since I got clean. I have totally different standards now. Marry the right person for the right reason.

anyone who would get married not expecting it to last is a fool. of course everyone expects their marriage to last. i've been married 12 years so far and expect to keep counting for a long time.
