I work at an Army Youth Center and Thursday another employee discovered a club that a group of three 9 and 10 yr olds formed to figure out the best way to kill me. They had a book from the library that had instructions to build a gun that fires pointed sticks. A plan involving bringing poison to the center and putting it in my water and another plan involving spider eggs hatching in my brain. One child received no punishment. One received a one-day suspension and one received a five-day suspension. The military police were called and a report was filed.
I voiced my concerns over working with these children in the future and my director's boss offered to switch me to another job at a different center. I will work at a different center on Monday then will be on a 2 week medical leave because I am in the middle of an invitro-fertilization cycle and my doctor wants me away from all this stress.
Because of these children I had to leave a job, kids, routine and center that I like.

Forcing me to deal with the stress of switching jobs and now having to take 2 weeks medical leave without pay. Why? Not because of anything I did wrong but because of these three children who are receiving hardly any punishment. Is this an EEO issue? I am phoning a lawyer in the morining, but I would appreciate any input.

Besides the book the children had notebook paper detailing the plans, the materials needed and a diagram of the gun they planned to build.

you might want to, maybe looking for other work at another place would be a more practical solution. Working elsewhere and not having those kids on your mind might be healthier for you.
