Welcome to "Conspiracy Theory Du Jour" Step right up and choose to believe in the conspiracy theory of your choice. I believe that Elvis lives and was abducted by aliens. Until they show me someone who can reproduce the shots in the time period with the exact rifle that Oswald used, I believe that there was more than one shooter - probably the second shooter was on the grassy knoll. I believe that we did land on the moon and the conspiracy theory that the whole thing was broadcast from a Hollywood studio is BS! Believe in the conspiracy theory of your choice!

I do believe that 9/11 was real and not an "inside job". I worked for one of the largest global computer/IT company and we went through hell dealing with the communications problem caused by 9/11 for months. The economic repercussions are/were staggering.

Don't think that just because I believe that the 9/11 attack was real and not an "inside job" that I trust the US government (or any government for that matter). I have not trusted governments and politicians (any politicians no matter what the affiliation) since Nixon and Watergate. I do believe that any government (US, Iran, France, etc.) is capable of incredibly atrocious acts in order to further their power or stay in power. I just don't believe in the 9/11 conspiracy theory. However, unlike others, while I don't believe in the conspiracy, I do not totally discount the possibility. It's just that based on the evidence presented so far, you are a long ways away from convincing me.

Do you believe GWBush is an absolute genius?

You definitely do if you believe he orchestrated 9/11.

Let me explain:

Clinton was impeached for a little extra activity in his own office.

Col. North was brought before a Senate Hearing for his involvement in arms dealing. All of the hearings were published and televised.

Richard Nixon was impeached, disgraced and removed from office for a lousy burglary in the DMC offices in the Watergate Hotel.

It seems that every week there's a new scandal involving members of both houses of Congress - some are disgraced, some resign, some are criminally charged and all are exposed despite elaborate attempted cover ups.

In all of these examples, very few people are involved in the attempted cover ups, yet all of them were exposed - NOT by theories and conspiracies or web sites or blogs - they were exposed by valid and verifiable FACTS brought forward by independent watch dog groups, reporters hungry for a scoop, soon to be authors, and, yes, in rare cases, even the media.

All of these men were as smart or smarter than Bush - none of the examples involved more than a handful of people "in the know" - yet they couldn't cover up their indiscretions - AND YOU THINK BUSH COULD COVER UP 9/11 ????

Capital Hill is under the microscope 24/7.

Think about it.

'Tain't very likely, eh?

Certainly.
There is no way could anybody but the government cause the US Air Force to stand down for over an hour, when there are two squandrons on alert full time.

Additionally, Al qaeda did not exist until after 9/11

I do and for those you that believe our government would not or could not do that is exactly why they did get away with it. Of course no one wants to believe that our own government would do such a thing let alone the reason why they did it I suppose you all believe that our own government had nothing to do with assassinating our own president (jfk )even though several investigations have shown government invovlement. The u.s government has been caught in many illegal activities and there are many more we dont know about because it is above us all you must look at the big picture and remember that the most important thing to this government is remaining the worlds superpower. To those of you who dont want to believe that its possible there was government involvement and cover up are naive and is the reason why you could never be a political leader or figure in our government. I have researched and read many documents related to 911 and have made my own conclusion the information is out there for you to see. I would get in to the reasons why the government was involved but I dont have enough time but the info is out there do some research before you convince yourself who was really behind 911.

I do not think the government carried out those attacks. Search for "Popular Mechanics". It is a reputable source that collaborated with industry experts on debunking the myths. Most of these theory sites give very little concrete evidence. They give quotes from unkown people and fishy pictures. Just think... why would the government want to do that? Of what benefit would it be to kill so MANY people? It is irresponsible and insensitive to the people who lost so many loved ones to throw around silly conspiracy theories.

Well, who else had the money to fund that kind of attack? W.
He's not smart enough to orchestrate the whole thing on his own, but he's got enough money to pay people to plan it out. So he did.
Did you see the videos that showed the explosions that went off right before the planes penetrated the buildings? Those were bombs that were planted and set to go off at a particular time.
Also, marines were told to go to the WTC buildings and wait. They were told to be there early in the morning on 9/11, and wait.

If you believe a bunch of AL quida rag heads & a guy in a cave did 9/11 then you whole heartedly believe thier god performed great miracles that day. Greater than the walls of JERICO. I don't buy it!! Look at the facts. Better yet, listen to what the physicists & engineers are saying.

Of course not, no one can really beleive that. The people on the planes died when terrorists took over the planes, People know the friends and families of these people.

It is a known fact terrorsts did this. Those that take away the brave actions of our citizens on these planes do them a great dishonor and should be ashamed of thierself for hurting the memory of these great people.

People who teach this fraud need to be held accountable to the pain and suffering they are cuaing the familes of those on the planes

No, first, the evidence is shockingly less than convincing and contrived. Second, our government is clearly not smart enough to perpretrate such a deception. Third, the risk of being caught for such an attack outweighs any possible benefit for it.

Conspiracy hypotheses will always exist, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, should not be accepted.
