it's called "spotting".. it can happen any time of the month, but more so when you're a week before or after your period. nothing to fret about... but if it goes on continuously and you start to notice other symptoms, go to the doc-- better safe than sorry.

If you are sexually active, it COULD be a sign of pregnancy. It is called implantation bleeding, which usually happens about a week after you conceived (also making it about a week before your period is due). This is a small amount of blood that occurs when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall. But of course, that's just a possibility.

It's no big deal. Maybe you have a cut or it is just some that has found its way down before the rest comes.
Sometimes they call that spotting. It happens with ovulation. You ovulate about 14 days before you get your period so that sounds about right

when i was 9weeks pregnant i had noticed a little blood when i wiped also. I of course freaked out and thought it was a misscarriage, but after an emergency room visit it turned out to be an urinary tract infection. But usually if you have one it hurts to go pee. I would definetly get it checked out if you have any other symptoms.

It could be early. It happens some times. The one thing that doctors have learned in the last 10 years is that there is no such thing as a "normal period"

You may experience some spotting if you're taking birth control medication or some kind of medicine to treat a particular problem. Keep an eye on it and any changes call your doctor right away.

Very mild vaginal bleeding could very well be the after-effects or precursor to one's period. However, if it becomes regular or more severe, and if it is definitely "abnormal vaginal bleeding" (nonmenstrual), a physician, specifically an obstetrician or gynecologist, should be contacted.

I noticed your name is Josh... Is it even possible for you to have a period??
If you are a girl using Josh's name then don't worry about it. Getting your period early or even having a little bleeding between periods is very common and usually nothing to worry about. It is MISSING a period that you have to worry about.
