They just announced a program to sell some 291 generic prescription drugs. The cost....only $4 a month! How are the Wal-mart haters going to spin this one. They're putting the drug companies out of business? FYI, Target and K-mart have similar programs...but you would have never known that if I hadn't told you.

Ok, the prescription thing is what I was talking about. That seems to be a good thing that could help a lot of peope, but again, wal-mart is bad

lol.. actually i don't know why ANY ONE would hate walmart.. i love it.. .they have awesome prices.. and like the prescription deal, some thing you CAN"T get a better deal on!!

I don't hate it, But - you've got to be prepared if you're going
to the WalMart in my area.
Let me tell you, the aisles are just wide enough to fit one
shopping cart at a time.
When you check out, there will 13 registers & 2 cashiers.
You will be in line for a longer time than it took to shop.
Lately, I've been buying things in WalMart & then find the
same items in the grocery store for less.
We'll see about the scripts.
Any info on how they plan to accomplish the $4. a month thing?

I dont hate Wal-Mart, and the thousands of people who shop at my local one every day must not hate it either. I freakin love it. Living in a small town, I dont have many shopping options. With a hectic life, its nice to be able to get groceries, diaper, baby clothes, even a freakin TV all in one stop. Even at 3 in the morning if I feel like it. Its been a lifesaver! With a toddler, sometimes you just unexpectedly need stuff. And I think that prescription thing is great. People who say they hate walmart, still shop there

Walmart is a good company and I stand by them. Their workers have been nice every time we have gone into their store. The cost for drugs there is great. People complain to the government about high med costs and when a company comes forth and does something positive for it, people complain. The drug companies are on their own...they will survive one way or the other.

WHO hates WalMart ? The only people who say they do are looking for help. Are these the same ones who hate Bush but don't really know why. I guess if you gotta hate you just pick. The walmart prescription deal is really a good thing for the people who need it. I will not put big pharmacies out of business, hardly. generic drugs have been in for ages. only Liberals Hate......

Hey I like Walmart, I've never used there Pharmacy but if I can get prescription drugs for $4 a month you can bet I'll switch Pharmacies..Who would at that cost..

the same reason everyone hated Microsoft a few years ago,

but seriously.. they come in offer a lot of products that mom and pop stores sells, and the can under cut the prices for those products because they have a walmart every 12 miles across the world. Because of that lot of local business have to go out because cant compete..

They create a dollar drought in the communities they move into! Money leaves, it does not stay! Many businesses can't compete and go out of business! Downtown's dry up!
They also only create low wage jobs using child labor, Chinese labor and have been caught employing illegals!
First I have heard of it! I have never received a 4$ prescription there!

I dont know of anyone who hates walmart! Ive shopped there all my life and just recently got a job there and I still love it. The people are nice and it pays better than my last job.
