When you say "another" that implies that there has already been one. What exactly are you referring to?
Edit:
I got your message that you were referring to the SETI signal. As of now there is no explanation for the signal and it has never been replicated and therefore at this time we are unable to prove the origin of it one way or another. I think it is possible that we are not alone in the universe however until there can be some sort of concrete proof it will remain the stuff of science fiction.
We are able to however analyse the atmospheres of other planets and if extraterrestrials did existthey would probably not be equipped to survive in our atmosphere and vice versa. As far as other galaxies go, who knows? We are only equipped at present to acquire date up to a certain distances.

She's referring to when scientists found an unusual radio signal... I think in the 80s, maybe 90s... that looked like it was from inteligent life. The scientist wrote "WOW!" by the signal. I don't remember what it actually was, probably a pulsar.
I think we will. I've heard a few different scientists give estimates for finding life at around the years 2020-2030 (most of us will be alive). No idea why they all swarm around this time... probably has to do with the rate at which technology advances. Or maybe they know something we don't know? ;)
We should be able to coexist since it will probably either be very far away or it will be nearby very unintelligent life. I hope that knowing we aren't unique will humble us, but help us realize that we are part of something great. I also hope it will draw us closer together as a species and make us more appreciative of the life closest to us that we share a planet with.

I had a wow incident once near Yakima, Washington where I saw what I think was an extra terrestrial craft. I don't have any reason to believe the aliens are particularly interested in "meeting" us as I am sure they know all about us. I think we have no choice but to coexist in peace. It shouldn't change us and I still think we are unique, but vastly inferior in technology.

The 'WOW' signal was recorded on 15 of August 1977 by the Ohio State University Radio Observatory or "Big Ear". It was a very stron spike signal that was nothing similar ever observed and until today nobody can tell for sure wether it was artificial (eg. alien) or naturan (eg. some astronomical event). Unfortunately even though they turned to that part of the sky(where it was recorded) a few hundred times it was never heard again.
I just hope one day we live the 'wow' incident again! Especially today that we have much more technology to help us analyse it.

Considering the vastness of the universe, I doubt that we are the only ones here. As far as meeting an alien life form in our lifetime..who knows? The alien life form could be as simple as a cell or more complex then we are.

I have no idea. However, a wise man once said that our best hope for peace among all the people of earth is an invasion from space.

They are here already. Here is a picture of a breeding pair from the late 1960's or early 70's.
I hear that they hang around Washington DC a lot.

We can't even coexist as one species!! I doubt we could with any other species.

I think it's unlikely we will in our lifetimes, due to the vastness of the universe.

Frikin elves! I've seen them. Yes we can coexist if only we can learn their language.
