I believe you can. The dictionary definition of patriot is somebody who proudly supports or defends his or her country and its way of life. This is a definition that is open to interpretation. I interpret literally. I proudly support my country and my husband proudly defends his country. I don't support Bush. I don't support the war. I still find myself supporting the US and troops. I think this country is a great place to live. I think the idea (democracy) is right and works for THIS country. Do I think we can apply our way of life to a country that has lived under dictatorship for thousands of years? No. I still consider myself a patriot though. I think if you support the country and it's ideals, you are a patriot.

DEFINITELY! as long as your loyal to your country and want what's best for it, you're a patriot. In fact, many disagree with the president, government, and war, but are still patriots because they feel methods that differ from the ones currently implemented are the best ones for the nation.
~a fellow patriot.

Yes, you can. You can also disagree with him in a time of peace. There are times when the actions of the President and the government must be questioned.
We have chosen to live in a Democracy. In a Democracy this is a good thing.

"Disagree" is such a mild word. The "disagreements" most liberals (still a significant minority) have are treasonous and fail to adequately protect our citizens (who ARE the country) from harm.
Instead, their "disagreements" give aid, comfort and encouragement to the enemy while demoralizing our troops.
This country isn't just some innocuous chunk of land, my friends. It is a group of living, breathing human beings, most of whom deserve to continue living and breathing.
When your actions endanger the citizens and soldiers who make up this country, you cease to be patriotic.

being a patriot is being loyal to your country and its leader. You may not be in total agreement...but face it if the country needed you ..no matter how much you disagree with some things.. there would be no one that could hold you back..I'm sure

Absolutely! When an idiot starts a false war, based on a pack of lies then, uses 'we're at war'.as an excuse for all the low-life sh*t he's doin' & has done,we would be unpatriotic NOT to speak up!

Yes, I think so, especially when he started the war for his own personal gain. He really is responsible for 2700 of our lives and 10's of thousand Iraqi lives. In a war based on his lies.
