I know you're wondering how come i don't know this,but what is it really.What time of the year does it take place and is it for every grade in the high school.

It is a tradition where past graduating students from the school come home for a football or basketball game. It is also a dumb excuse to name some "hot" and "easy" chick a queen and an even dumber reason to have a dance. Obviously, it takes place during football or basketball season and it is for every grade in high school.

Normally, homecoming falls around September/October and hinges around some big football game your school has. Prior to the game homecoming queen and king (Normally cheerleaders and football players) are picked and a big affair is done during the game. Within that time the homecoming dance happens and prior to this guys ask girls to go. They dress up formal and if the guy isn't a cad he will take the girl to a fancy dinner and buy a corsage for the girl. After dinner comes the dance and pictures and sometimes if the guy is not a gentleman and the girl is not a lady they will get smashed and go somewhere and have sex. Homecoming is normally held for Junior High and Senior High ages.
