well it took me a total of 17 hours to get from Wyandotte (just outside detroit & above toledo) so we're about 2 hours apart so.... say 15 hours to jacksonville and then another 6 to miami. it took me two days to jax. well would have if i didn't stop over in savannah ; ) one thing -- avoid atlanta between 3p-7p!!! either stop prior or get through - it's worse than rush hour on I-75 in an ice strom!!!
save travels!!!
PS - my travel time includes various breaks - when i drive alone i tend to stop more ; )

18 hours, 36 minutes, approximately 1240 miles. This is true because I just drove from Florida's space coast to Chicago. It is 1239 miles and took me 18 hours. You can spread the trip out by driving 2 days for 9 hours each day. Not too bad.
Good Luck on your trip!
