a. You put your right foot in your mouth, and don't take it out;

b. You make statements to the media, and turn yourself around;

This is so wonderfully old fashioned,and therefore right up my alley. I remember going to a party after the Army-Navy Game, back in 1968. We all danced to either this or the Bunny Hop,I swear. Technically, the hokey pokey is not what it's all about. The song was just telling you how to do it, therefore whether we should be doing it or not - is not the issue.
