Have you heard of a new variation of this dance called the 'Dubya Hokey Pokey'? These are the basic steps:

a. You put your right foot in your mouth, and don't take it out;

b. You make statements to the media, and turn yourself around;

c. You put your backside in Iraq, and have no idea how to pull it out.

That's what it's all about.

I can tell that you put your whole self into this question. But you are on shaky ground with this ideology. Turn yourself around and take another look at this hokey idea. And hurry it up - being a slow pokey is not what it's all about.

This is so wonderfully old fashioned,and therefore right up my alley. I remember going to a party after the Army-Navy Game, back in 1968. We all danced to either this or the Bunny Hop,I swear. It was so innocent and so much fun. I'll do the Hokey Pokey RIGHT NOW.....if you promise to be my partner!

Technically, the hokey pokey is not what it's all about. The song was just telling you how to do it, therefore whether we should be doing it or not - is not the issue.
Was I just being a dud?
I just turned myself around...

Ask Martha Bolton. She is the lunch lady who writes a column in the Christian publication, "Brio" for teenaged girls. She is hilarious. She is the one who this quote comes from.
